1970 Singer Sewing Cabinet

A friend inherited the Singer Sewing Cabinet her parents received when they married in 1970. This sewing cabinet was used to sew clothes for her and her siblings as they were growing up, plus many other projects. The sewing machine is still usable, but needed an updated home. 

Original Description: Veneer applied to entire product. Veneer on top was cracked and coming off. Original hardware needed cleaned. The base had water damage and was beyond repair.

Refinished Information: Brand new veneer applied to the top section and stained in Walnut stain color and satin polyurethane. Original hardware cleaned and then Silver Gilding Wax applied. New base built and installed to provide the support needed.
